Title:
INPUT CIRCUIT FOR SEMICONDUCTOR DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH11163714
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide an input circuit for the semiconductor device by which a received external signal is stably outputted to an internal circuit, even if a supply noise ouurs.

This input circuit 1 for a semiconductor device is made up of a bonding pad BP, an electrostatic noise absorbing means NP, a power noise control means NC1, and inverters IV1, IV2. It converts the voltage level of an external signal Sin inputted from the bonding pad and then outputs the signal to an internal circuit IS. A noise produced at ground level GND is transferred to gates of a P-channel MOS-FET 103 and an N-channel MOS-FET 105 via a capacitive element 3. Since the gate-source voltage of the N-channel MOS-FET 105 is kept constant even on occurrence of a noise, a signal with stable voltage is always outputted to the internal circuit.
