Abstract:
To eliminate such defect that the existence of a invasion detection system is found out by a hacker in a well-known invasion detection system, by using a new technique to monitor and guard case records of a host as main items to be monitored, in a host base invasion detection system to be used for protecting the security of a network station and detecting a non-authorized or an illegal operation.
A system state collecting module monitors not continuously in a form having no difference from general operation inside a server computer, the existence of a system state collector is not found out even by a skilled hacker and system decryption by the hacker is made more difficult.
