PURPOSE: To provide a pumping tube installation method which is excellent in workability, high in safety and time and labor saving to a great extent with affecting no adverse effect to peripheral equipment.

CONSTITUTION: In a squeezing type fluid pump 1, a stopper 7 which prevents a roller from passing through, is fitted at the tip end section of a pumping tube 5, and the torque of a rotor 3 is transmitted to the pumping tube 5 as tension force in the longer direction. The pumping tube 5 is slidably moved within a pump casing 2 with the rotor rotated, so that the tube is thereby installed over the pad surface 4 in the inner circumferential surface of the pump casing 2. Since the pumping tube is slidably moved while the torque of the rotor 3 is directly transmitted to the pumping tube 5, installation works can quickly performed without necessitating any detergent and the like for lubrication.
