Abstract:
In an elevator hoisting machine braking apparatus, a first spherical seat is interposed between a brake arm and a braking segment. A second spherical seat is interposed between the brake arm and a pressing and attracting means. The first spherical seat is disposed relative to the second spherical seat in a direction that the pressing and attracting means presses the second spherical seat.
