PURPOSE: To provide an installing device of a plane display which can arbitrarily adjust the height of a main body at the time of use and is movable to a ceiling surface when the display is not used.

CONSTITUTION: This installing device has a U-shaped frame 8 having bearings 9 at its top and bottom, a DC motor 1 mounted at this frame 8, a worm gear 3 pivotally fitted to the revolving shaft of this DC motor 1 and a worm wheel 5 having spiral grooves A7 in a shaft turning on the perpendicular axis of the bearings 9 by meshing with this worm gear 3. Further, the device has spiral grooves B12 screwed to the spiral grooves A7 pivotally supported by the bearings 9 and a cylindrical moving shaft 11 having a projecting piece 13 of a perpendicular projecting shape engaging with the perpendicular groove-like guide grooves 14 formed on the lower bearing 9 and a mounting part for mounting the plane display body on the lower one side. Driving of the motor 1 is transmitted via the worm gear 3 to the worm wheel 5 and the wheel 5 turns on the moving shaft 11 and the moving shaft 11 is moved vertically.
