Title:
INSULATED DOUBLE PIPELINE AND PIPE JOINT THEREFOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3216524
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent any electrical corrosion in a pipe joint from occurring by making up an armored pipe part of this pipe joint connecting two insulated double pipes, with resin.
SOLUTION: Each armoring pipe 12 is fitted in the outside of each main pipe 11 after interposing each heat insulator 13 between, constituting each of two insulated double pipes 10. Two main pipes 11 and 11 themselves of these double pipes 10 and 10 are connected together by means of welding, while a connecting part is covered with a temporary cover in a cylindrical manner and, after an expandable heat insulator 13' is filled up, this temporary cover is removed, covering it with a heat-contraceptive sheet 15. On the other hand, a pipe joint 20 makes a clearance at the outside of a T-main pipe part 21, fitting a T-armoring pipe part 22 therein, and an expandable heat insulator 23 is filled up in this clearance. This armoring pipe part 22 is formed into the same diameter with each armoring pipe 12 of the double pipes 10, with the same material, for example, a polyethylene pipe. In addition, each end of the T-main pipe part 21 is projected to the outside of the armoring pipe part 22, and each opening end of the clearance is closed by a polyethylene cap 24.
