Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insulating protective coating agent for optical semiconductors which has heat resistance and electric insulating properties and is excellent in light transmission properties and adhesion to a sealing resin.
SOLUTION: This compsn. contains a polyorganosiloxane mixture contg., on average, 0.1-0.8 alkenyl group (based on the total molecules), a polyorganohydrogensiloxane, a platinum catalyst, and fumed silica and has a penetration (with a 1/4 cone) of 80-140.
