CONSTITUTION: In a method for forming the slot insulation layer 4 and the coil end insulation layer 5 of the stator coil 1 in a high voltage rotating machine in this order, wherein both layers are composed of epoxy prepreg laminated mica tapes, an exfoliation layer 12 covering a high resistance corona-proof layer and a resin absorption layer 13 for fastening the exfoliation layer from the outside are provided as a resin absorbing means 11 for fastening the slot insulation layer 4 from the outside in the vicinity of the end of the coil end insulation layer 5 which is then subjected to thermal curing.
