Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for intaglio printing by which it is possible to avoid the use of an evaporable solvent or a harmful chemical for health when using an erasable and reusable intaglio printing plate, and further, simplify a methodological concept in this field as well as a device using this method.
SOLUTION: Based on an intaglio printing master which undergoes a filling step for forming a printing plate and an image forming step following the former, the recessed part is uniformly filled with a UV printing ink by a feed device 2 and the UV printing ink is cured by a UV drier 3 in the filling step. Further, in an image forming step, the UV printing ink cured by thermal cutting 5 is removed from the recessed part, fashioned after an image and an intaglio printing plate to which a lustering process is applied based on the image is colored in the UV printing ink using a coloring system 7. For reuse, the intaglio printing plate passes through an erasure step using the UV printing ink.
