Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid useless line connection by providing an incoming call user information acquisition means acquiring designation information from a connection request message and an incoming call user retrieval means retrieving whether or not the user is connected to a LAN.
SOLUTION: A user 141 using a communication terminal equipment 111 makes communication with LAN terminal equipments 131-133 via the inter-work equipment 121. When a call is requested by an instruction of the user 141, a SETUP message is generated. In this case, information to designate an incoming call user and an ISDN address of the equipment 121 are delivered to a line control section 113 by a system control section 112 and coded as an incoming sub-address information element and an incoming call number information element in the SETUP message respectively. Upon the receipt of an ALERT message, whether or not a CONN message is received is discriminated and when received, it indicates that the connection to the equipment 121 is made and an ACK message is sent and the connection processing with the equipment 121 is finished.
