Statistical viewer information 90 about the viewers of the program is calculated on the basis of the information 21 and the transferred data. Optimal products are selected for a number of unspecified viewers on the basis of the information 22 and 90. After that, the selected optimal commodity information is provided to a number of unspecified viewers via a data broadcast system 60. Thus, broadcast information such as effective product information having high appeal to a number of unspecified viewers is provided.
