Abstract:
To provide an interchangeable disk recording and reproducing device in which a control device detects correct a kind of a disk and control can be continued even when a kind of a disk inserted into a DVD recorder 200 is changed by formatting, a disk information output method, a disk information obtaining method, a program, and a recording medium.
A target makes disk-in drive information shift temporarily to a value other than "there is a disk" at the time of format, a controller detects that and examines a kind again.
