Abstract:
To provide an interior material having good deodorant and antibacterial properties in the room.
The interior material has at least a base material with a rugged surface and particles attached to the surface of the fired clay base. The particle contains a photocatalytic material at least a part of which is covered with a compound represented by Ax(BOy)zX. A is ≥1 atom selected from the group consisting of Ca, Co, Ni, Cu, Al, La, Cr, Fe, and Mg. B is ≥1 atom selected from the group consisting of B, P, and S. X is ≥1 atom selected from the group consisting of OH, CO3, and a halogen atom. Foul smell components, bacteria and microorganisms are efficiently contacted with the particles containing the compound represented by Ax(BOy)zX, because the particles are attached to a wider rugged surface area of the base of the interior material.
