The interline fishing rod has a tip section 6 formed by winding a fiber-reinforced prepreg obtained by impregnating a reinforcing fiber with a synthetic resin. A protruded ridge 17 guiding the fishing line is formed on the inner circumference of the tip section 6 and a water-repelling layer is formed on the inner surface of the section. The protrusion height H of the protruding ridge 17 is ≤0.3 mm at the tip end of the tip section 6 and the inner diameter d1 of the tip section is ≥1.65 mm at the tip end.
