Abstract:
To secure a period for performing poisoning regeneration during a combustion stop period.SOLUTION: An internal combustion engine control unit 110 performs fuel cut processing or fuel introduction processing when stopping combustion in a cylinder 11 of an internal combustion engine 10. The internal combustion engine control unit 110 comprises a stop determination part 113 for determining whether or not a stop condition of the combustion in the cylinder 11 is established. The internal combustion engine control unit 110 comprises an estimation part 114 for estimating a sulfur accumulation amount in a three-dimensional catalyst 22. The estimation part 114 changes an estimation method of the sulfur accumulation amount depending on the case that the fuel cut processor is performed, and the case that the fuel introduction processing is performed. Then, when the fuel cut processing or the fuel introduction processing is started when the sulfur accumulation amount is equal to or larger than an accumulation threshold, the internal combustion engine control unit 110 restarts the combustion in the cylinder 11 when the sulfur accumulation amount reaches a desorption determination value or smaller even if the stop determination part 113 determines that the stop condition is established.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
