To provide an intraoral collapsible tablet which contains lactobacillus or an extracted ingredient thereof as an active ingredient, is minimal in the time required for collapse thereof in an oral cavity, when taken, namely excellent in intraoral easy collapsibility for quickly collapsing in an oral cavity, and holds tablet hardness needed for holding the shape of the tablet on the molding, distribution and handling of the tablets, and to provide a method for producing the same.
The method for producing the intraoral collapsible tablet containing lactobacillus or extracted ingredient thereof, holding intraoral easy collapsibility and tablet hardness required for preparing the tablet is characterized by mixing (a) granulated granules containing lactobacillus or an extracted ingredient thereof as an active ingredient and compounding it with a vehicle and/or a moisture-adjusting agent, with (b) easily collapsible powder, for intraoral collapsible tablets, containing sugar and/or a sugar alcohol and not containing lactobacillus or extracted ingredient thereof, and then molding the mixture. The intraoral collapsible tablet containing lactobacillus or extracted ingredient thereof holds intraoral easy collapsibility for quick collapse in oral cavity and tablet hardness necessary for holding the tablet shape.
