To provide an inverter power unit which can perform parallel operation without providing a master device or a common part thereby improving the reliability on a parallel operation system.
A reactive power controller 12 detects the differential voltage between the voltage of a capacitor 4 and the voltage of a capacitor 5a, and converts an output voltage amplitude command value, according to the detection results. A load regulation controller 14 converts an output voltage amplitude command, according to the output of a load power computer 13 and a load current computer 15. An active power controller 17 detects the phase difference between load voltage and a load current and outputs an amplitude command value according to the phase difference to a PWM modulation processor 18. The PWM modulation processor 18 controls the turning on/off the switching element of a DC/AC inverter 7, based on the output voltage amplitude command value outputted from the load regulation controller 14, and also controls the output frequency of the DC/AC inverter 7, according to the above amplitude command value.
