PURPOSE: To prevent a breast part frame from being folded accidentally by providing a regulation member which regulates the pivoting of the breast part frame to the housing position side of the breast part frame by engaging a connecting member set in a state in which the breast part frame is pivoted to the side of a working position with the connecting member so as to be moved to the lower side.

CONSTITUTION: This ironing board can be used by pivoting both leg part frames 6 to the working position after the regulation member 23 is moved to a release position, and tightening a thumbscrew 25 by moving the regulation member 23 to a connecting position, and regulating the pivoting of the connecting member 20 between a mounting part 7b and the tip part 23a of the regulation member 23, and in a state in which both leg part frames 6 can be held at the working position. Also, the movement of both leg part frames 6 in the right and left directions can be regulated by engaging the connecting member 20 with a holding part 7a. In such a way, since both leg part frames 6 can be held at the working position by regulating the pivoting of the connecting member 20 with the mounting part 7b and the tip part 23a of the regulation member 23, both leg part frames 6 can be surely prevented from being folded accidentally.
