PURPOSE: To enable even a person in charge having little experience to easily generate job control information for executing a job to a computer system by introducing the simple job control information definition.

CONSTITUTION: A discriminating part 7 refers to a simple job control information definition table 1 to check information read from an input part 6, and divides the result into logical units to transfer them to an expanding part 8. The expanding part 8 converts this information to actual job control information in accordance with a simple job control information conversion table 2, and a file information part 9 detects an internal file name and adds information of an external file name or the like from a file information table 3. A job control information editing part 10 converts this information to such form that it can be inputted to the computer system, and it is outputted to an execution job control information file 4. An operation information editing part 11 reads its contents to edit operation indicating information for jog execution and outputs this information to an operation information file 5. Thus, job control information is easily generated.
