Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lock for a fitting having a display member protruding from an outside of a door during a locked state when a compartment is in use, which inhibits an unlocking operation by a person outside the door by operating the display member even during use, and which prevents aged deterioration due to wear in an operation unit and the display member.SOLUTION: A lock for a fitting in which an operation unit 11 is operated for engaging or disengaging with a receiving part 13 to perform locking or unlocking comprises: a lock device 1 fixed on an inner surface of a door D; and a display member 2 whose tip 21 protrudes from an outer surface side of the door D according to a locking operation of the lock device 1. In the lock for the fitting, the display member 2 comprises: a base end part 22 accessible to the operation unit 11; and a first magnetic body 23 fixed on the base end part 22, and the operation unit 11 comprises: a second magnetic body 113 which opposes and repels the first magnetic body 23 in a locked state; and a third magnetic body 114 separated from the second magnetic body 113 which opposes and attracts the first magnetic body 23 in an unlocked state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
