Abstract:
To provide a joining method and a joining member which facilitates centering of a second pipe and a first pipe and can shorten work time in an excavated trench without being affected by the level of skill of a worker.SOLUTION: A joining method for joining a first pipe and a second pipe into which inner diameter part the first pipe is inserted and which has an increased diameter part formed with a larger diameter than an outer diameter of the first pipe, the joining method comprising the steps of: fixing the first pipe to a fixing part; attaching, to the fixing part, an arm part protruding in a direction of the second pipe; making an abutment part formed at the arm part abut on the increased diameter part such that the abutment part protrudes from an end part of the increased diameter part in a direction of the second part; attaching a reaction force member to the first pipe; attaching a joining member to the fixing part; and inserting the second pipe into the inner diameter part by operating the joining member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
