Abstract:
To provide a joint member as an auxiliary tool for filling water into the entire inside of a borehole including the inside of a transparent pipe, in a geological survey performed by inserting the transparent pipe into the borehole.SOLUTION: A joint member is used for closing an opening end of a transparent pipe for imaging a hole wall face of a borehole by inserting the circular pipe-shaped transparent pipe into the excavated borehole and inserting a probe housing an imaging device in the transparent pipe. The joint member comprises a circular pipe-shaped body, a slender slit provided to the body for inserting a cable connected to the probe, extended over the whole range in the longitudinal direction of the body and penetrated to an inner face of the body, a rubber plug buried in the slit, a lid body closing an upper side opening of the body and having a through-hole of the cable connected to the probe, and an opening allowing connection of a water feeding pipe and provided on a side peripheral face of the body.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
