Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the filling of a sealing material much easier by providing a stepped portion facing the outlet side of a joint at a predetermined intermediate depth portion in the joint and then filling a plurality of kinds of sealing materials in the joint space to a laminated state in the depth direction. SOLUTION: Backing plywood 10 is placed at the rear side of both the exterior wall materials 1 sandwiching a joint 3 between the exterior wall materials 1, and a backup member 11 comprising an urethane or the like is arranged in such a manner that it is clamped between backing plywood boards 10 behind the joint 3. Next, at the predetermined intermediate depth position inside the joint 3, projected stripes 6 with a square cross section inside the joint 3 are provided on both the surfaces of both the exterior wall materials facing each other in the longitudinal direction of the wall, and a stepped face 7 is formed at the outlet side of the joint 3 of the projected stripe 6. Then, in a deeper side of this joint 3, its space is filled up with a one-component type modified silicone-based sealing material 4 of low modulus type, and the outlet side is filled up with a one-component type modified silicone-based sealing material 5 to a laminated form. Thus, the bonding power between the sealing material and the exterior wall material can be increased.
