PURPOSE: To perform the jointing of a resin pipe and a metal pipe certainly by a wind-tightened layer, by providing the filament winding with a specified angle on the outer periphery face of the end of the resin pipe and shaping the wind- tightened layer.
CONSTITUTION: One end of a mandrel 11 is inserted into a metal pipe 21 and positioned, then while rotating the mandrel 11 a resin covered continuous reinforcing material 31 is wound on outer peripheral faces of the ends of the mandrel 11 and metal pipe 21, under reciprocating in right and left directions and the end of a fiber reinforcing synthetic resin pipe 41 is laminated on the outer peripheral face of the end of the metal pipe 21. Then, the wind-tightened layer 51 is shaped by winding the continuous reinforcing material 31 to the outer peripheral face of the end of the resin pipe 41 and its neighborhood in the direction of 80W90° to the axis of the mandrel 11. After wind-tightening, the resin pipe 41 and the wind-tightened layer 51 are hardened at a room temperature or a higher temperature and a joint pipe 61 is obtained by drawing off the mandrel 11 from both pipes 21, 41.
