Abstract:
To provide a kerosene burner capable of preventing vaporized fuel from liquefying, sticking to a discharge electrode and the like, oozing outward to become an odor.SOLUTION: The kerosene burner comprising a wick 4 disposed in a wick guide cylinder 1 constituted of an inner wick guide cylinder 2 and an outer wick guide cylinder 3, a combustion cylinder 8 placed on a wick case 5 disposed on the upper part of the wick guide cylinder 1, a recessed section 12 which is formed on the upper end of the wick 4 and stays below the wick case 5 even when the wick rises to the ignition position i.e., its highest position, a counter pole section 17 disposed in the recessed part 12, of a counter pole plate 14 that vertically moves together with the wick 4, and a discharge electrode 21 made to protrude from a window section 18 provided on the outer wick guide cylinder 3 that faces the recessed part 12, further comprises a ventilation hole 25 formed below the window section 18, and thereby air is allowed to flow in the direction of the ventilation hole 25 formed below the window section 18, and air having flowed through the ventilation hole 25 is allowed to rise in a gap between the lower part of the wick case 5 and the counter pole plate 14 to flow through the discharge electrode 21 to prevent vaporized fuel generated in a space below the discharge electrode 21 from liquefying, sticking to the discharge electrode 21 and the like, oozing outward to become an odor.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
