Abstract:
PURPOSE: To facilitate the location of a cover member without lessening the drain hole of a case, and to prevent the cover member from hitting against the case even in the case where one end of a torsion coil spring varys in working angle.
CONSTITUTION: A cylinder 13 is arrangedly provided in a case 12, and a drain hole 12a is formed in the lower part of the case 12, and a projection part 12b is formed in the outer periphery of a cab side end 12d nearer a cab side than the drain hole 12a, and a switch 17 serving as a cover member is attached so as to cover the cab side end 12d by locking the switch 17 on the projection part 12b. In a key cylinder device 11 composed like this, the projection part 12b is formed so that a car outside end face 12e and a cab side end face 12f may cross a cylinder shaft at about right angles, and on the other hand, a locking hole 17b for the locking of the projection part 12b is formed in the switch 17. The key cylinder device is set up so that, in a locked state, the basic end peripheral edge 17f of the locking hole 17b abut on the cab side end face 12f, and the tip side peripheral edge 17e of the locking hole 17b abut on the car outside end face 12e.
