PURPOSE: To obtain a polyvinyl chloride resin compsn. with a reduced odor, an excellent weather resistance, and excellent vibration-absorbing properties by compounding a polyvinyl chloride resin with specific components in a specified wt. ratio.
CONSTITUTION: This compsn. contains 100 pts.wt. polyvinyl chloride resin with 10-100 pts.wt. phthalic ester represented by formula I (wherein R1 and R2 are each a monocyclic hydrocarbon group), 10-100 pts.wt. phthalic ester represented by formula II (wherein R3 is a monocyclic hydrocarbon group; and R4 is 1-6C alkyl), 5-30 pts.wt. phosphoric ester represented by formula III (wherein R5, R6, and R7 are each an arom. monocyclic hydrocarbon group), and 5-70 pts.wt. hydrogenated rosin-base resin. A pref. hydrogenated rosin-base resin is a hydrogenated rosin ester, esp. pref. an ester based on tetrahydroabietic acid. Pref. examples of compds. of formulas I, II, and III are dicyclohexyl phthalate, butyl benzyl phthalate, and trixylenyl phosphate, respectively.
