Abstract:
To provide a knee airbag which can be used for a vehicle in which a wide space is formed around feet of an occupant, and to provide a knee airbag device.SOLUTION: A knee airbag device 1 includes: a knee airbag 2 which inflates and deploys in front of a lower leg part M of an occupant; an inflator 3 which supplies an inflation gas to the knee airbag 2; and a retainer 4 which houses the knee airbag 2 and the inflator 3. The knee airbag 2 includes: a main chamber 5 which inflates and deploys to the vehicle structure P side; and sub chambers 6 which inflate and deploy between the main chamber 5 and the lower leg part M of the occupant.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
