Abstract:
To provide a knee orthosis capable of being saved in weight, being compact in size, and being reduced in cost.SOLUTION: A knee orthosis 100 includes: an upper cuff part 101 attachable to a thigh part; a lower cuff part 102 attachable to a lower leg part; a link part 103 joining the upper cuff part 101 and the lower cuff part 102; a pair of long members 104 having flexibility and a prescribed tensile strength; and a winding-up mechanism 105 winding the long members 104. The upper cuff part 101 has a first hooking part 111 on which the long members 104 can be hooked and along which the long members 104 can slide. The lower cuff part has a second hooking part 121 on which the long members 104 can be hooked and along which the long members 104 can slide. The winding-up mechanism 105 can adjust a winding-up amount of the long members 104.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
