Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an L-shaped guide for a conventional pair of scissors which makes the pair of scissors easy to cut a cardboard forward and easy to pick up from a flat surface and is able to be vertically placed, and also to provide a pair of scissors with an L-shaped guide.SOLUTION: In a conventional pair of scissors 1 axially supported by a pivot 10 to open and close a pair of blade plates 5, 5 with an upper and lower ring-shaped operation parts 12b, 12a coupled to base end parts 6, 6 of the blade plates 5, 5, one of members of an L-shaped member 2, in which a rectangular thin flat plate having a constant width and length is L-folded vertically, is used as a member 15 to fasten it on the blade root 9 of an upper blade 7a. Another member of the L-shaped member, which is L-folded from an end part in a direction extending to a tip 8 and extends in a lateral direction on the right side, is used as a guiding member 16. To make the pair of scissors 1 stood sideway on a flat surface 18b, a required angle θ1 is given to a bottom side 17 of the member 16 that guides them to an L-shaped bent part 14, thereby forming an L-shaped guide 3 and an a pair of scissors with an L-shaped guide 4, in which the member 16 guiding them at an angle θ2 corresponding to that angle is provided on the blade root 9 of the upper blade 7a by forward tilting toward the tip 8 of the upper blade 7a.
