Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems of conventional methods for backache which are wrapping around the waist with a belt-like corset made by using a rubber material and plastic, applying acupuncture and moxibustion, extention, massage, and ointment of hospital prescription, and which have following shortcomings (A) the corset has a temporary effect and is not lasting, (B) it is worn by tightly wrapping around the waist, causing a feeling of being pressured, (C) it is deviated from the lumbar when a person bends down or works while moving the body, (D) it is hot when worn in summer, causing the waist sweaty, (E) it is high priced for the effect (2,000-7,000 yen), (F) acupuncture, moxibustion, extension, massage, and ointment have an effect that is temporary and not lasting, and (G) there is almost no means of improving the backache by using footwear.SOLUTION: A slipper for resolving backache is characterized in that it is formed to have the toe part of the article of footwear higher than the heel part in the height of the sole, making an inclination of approximately 15 to 20 degrees so that the center of gravity is in the rear part when the slipper is worn.
