Title:
LADLING DEVICE FOR MOLTEN METAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5832569
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To ladle the residual molten metal in each helding furnace easily by mounting an ejector to a body formed to a soft hat-like shape, communicating and connecting a ladling pipe thereto and fitting and placing the collar part of the body on the top surface of the flange of an ingot case.

CONSTITUTION: An ejector 4 is mounted to a body 1 formed to a soft hat-like shape, and a ladling pipe 5 is communicated and connected thereto. The collar part 2 of the body is fitted to the top surface 3a of the flange of an ingot case 3. First, the case 3 is placed on an ingot base 9 by facing the molten metal holding furnaces 8 of respective die casting machines. A bracket 10 is placed on the surface 3a. Then, the body 1 is fitted and placed via the bracket 10 on the surface 3a. If the pipe 5 is submerged into the residual molten metal 6 in the furnace 8 and the space 11 is evacuated with the ejector 4, the metal 6 is ladled through the pipe 5 into the case 3.
