To recognize the position for trimming electrode easily and surely, and attain an accurate trimming by placing a mark showing the trimming position for a trimming electrode on the surface of a ceramic element.
Internal electrodes 3 and 3 are provided in a ceramic element 1 with a ceramic layer 2 in between, and a trimming electrode 4 for adjusting electrostatic capacity is arranged close to the surface of the element 1 (under a ceramic layer 1a for cover on the upper surface side of the element 1). Further, external electrodes 5 and 5 for continuity between the electrodes 3 and 3 are provided on both ends of the element 1. Then a mark 6 showing the trimming position in the trimming electrode 4 is disposed at a position opposite to the electrode 4 on the upper surface of the element 1.
