To improve characteristics and dimensional accuracy by making a first substrate with a first function pattern formed and a second substrate with a second functional pattern formed to be integral with an intermediate layer in between through sintering, cutting the integrated body into pieces, and forming an external terminal on a conductor exposing on the side surface thereof.
An intermediate layer 5 made of glass paste which can be sintered is printed on the surface with a function pattern of at least either of a first substrate in which a plurality of first functional patterns 2 are formed on a first ceramic substrate 1 and a second substrate in which a plurality of second function patterns 4 are formed on a second ceramic substrate 3. Then, after debindering process given separately, the first and second substrates are sintered at 500 to 700°C with the intermediate layer 5 in between, so that they are made integral. Further, the sintered body is cut into pieces, forming an external terminal 6 on a conductor exposing on the side surface of the piece.
