Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a laser beam scanning device, which can realize high printing accuracy, by a method wherein the shifting trouble of the starting position of printing due to the oblique movement or meadering of paper to be scanned is solved in the laser beam scanning device, with which images and characters are formed with laser beam.
CONSTITUTION: A laser beam scanning device consists of a polygon mirror, which polarizes and scans the laser beam emitted from an laser beam source, a condensing lens for condensing the scanned laser beam on the surface of paper to be scanned 5, a platen roller 12, which slidingly contacts with the rear surface of the paper to be scanned 5, a rotating shaft 13, which pivotally supports the platen roller 12 slidably normal to the feeding direction of the paper to be scanned 5, and a synchronizing sensor 16, which slides interlockingly and integrally with the platen roller 12 and receives the laser beam reflected by the polygon mirror.
