Abstract:
To provide a laser processing method that can reduce amounts of warp of a sheet metal.SOLUTION: A laser beam machine irradiates one or more parts of a plurality of parts P0 nested in a sheet metal as a first processing unit with a laser beam to cut the parts. The laser beam machine irradiates bars between the one or more parts included in the first processing unit and unprocessed parts of the plurality of parts nested in the sheet metal with laser beams to cut the bars, while preventing a range up to a position separated by a predetermined distance from an end portion of the sheet metal from being cut off so as to form slits on the bars. The laser beam machine irradiates one or more parts of the unprocessed parts as a second processing unit with laser beams to cut the parts.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 19
