To provide a latch lock which is compact and low in manufacturing cost and in which a latch portion and a bolt portion are formed by one member.
The latch lock includes a box-shaped lock case 2, a latch 3, a latch spring 4, a guide member 5, a lock hub 6 and a lock spring 7. The latch is formed with: a latch portion 3a having both faces inclined in a mountain shape; a rod-shaped bolt portion 3b, a link-support portion 3c, and a contact portion 3e in a plan view of the distal end. The latch spring is interposed between the bolt portion of the latch and a support plate of the guide member, and the latch portion is elastically supported so as to freely project and retract into from the front face of the lock case 2. In order to hold a locked state, a pivoting shaft of the lock hub 6 is rotated, so as to move the guide member forward and to move the latch forward, whereby the bolt portion is projected forward to be housed in a receiving seat. In order to hold an unlocked state, the pivoting shaft of the lock hub is rotated in the opposite direction, so as to move the guide member backward and to move the latch backward, whereby the bolt portion is ejected from the receiving seat.
