To provide a laundry washing navigation method and a laundry washing navigation system, for a self-service laundry service, which fully support self-service laundry washing processes from entry at a self-service laundry shop to the end.SOLUTION: A laundry washing navigation method for self-service laundry service according to an embodiment is a laundry washing navigation method for providing guides for how to wash/dry laundry items when using a laundry machine installed in a self-service laundry shop, and includes a step in which an illustration of a room is displayed on a screen of a laundry washing navigation device, a step in which a laundry item that is wished to be washed is selected from the illustration or the list of items in the illustration, a step in which a user is prompted to input the material of the selected laundry item and whether or not the inputted material is a washable material is determined, and a step in which, when it is determined that the material is a washable material, an identification code with which information on how to wash/dry the washable material can be obtained is displayed on the screen of the laundry washing navigation device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
