Abstract:
To provide a leaf chain which prevents the end face of a link plate from coming in partial contact with the outer peripheral surface of a pulley to reduce an increase in frictional resistance even when receiving a large load to thereby prevent an increase in driving force, and reduces noise and prevents partial wear to improve durability.
In the leaf chain 100 connecting a large number of link plates to be alternately bendable by inserting connecting pins 120 in connecting pinholes 112 of a plurality of link plates 110, 130, 140, the plurality of link plates 110, 130, 140 are machined so that at least one end face 111 in the longitudinal direction of each link plate is a perpendicular face to a side face.
