To solve the problems that in a conventional display device which allows to see objects, scenes or the like behind the display device transmissively: since a transmissive liquid crystal display panel for displaying images is not compatible with double-side display, when images projected from the rear side of the display device are seen, particularly when characters are displayed, the images are laterally reversed and information cannot be conveyed correctly.
One or a plurality of transmissive display panel surface 101a, transmissive display panel rear face 101b and the like made of a transparent acrylic resin and the like are arranged aslant around an LED image projecting section 102. By deflecting the light with directivity emitted from LEDs on the LED image projecting section 102 toward the transmissive display panel surface 101a and the transmissive display panel rear face 101b and deflecting the image from the LED image projecting section 102 in the viewpoint direction of the transmissive display panel surface 101a and the transmissive display panel rear face 101b, the same image can be displayed in a plurality of viewpoint directions as if floating in the air.
