To achieve miniaturization, while securing the strength of a lens holding part, in a lens barrel on which a lens barrier is mounted.
A lens barrel (110) is a lens barrel displaced between an extended state and a collapsed state by moving a lens in an optical axis direction and comprises: a barrier blade; a barrier driving member (2) including an extension part (2b); a barrier holding member (1); and a lens holding member (8) including a lens holding part (8e) holding the lens by a part of the outer circumferential part of the lens. In the lens barrel, in the transition process from the collapsed state to the extended state of the lens barrel, the lens holding member gets close to the barrier holding member in the optical axis direction. When the barrier blade is in a closed state, the extension part and the lens holding part are in such a positional relationship as to at least partially overlap with each other, when viewed from the optical axis direction. When the barrier blade is in an opened state, the extension part and the lens holding part are not overlapped with each other, when viewed from the optical axis direction.
