To realize space saving, and easily and safely be used by mounting a rotatable turntable on a raising/lowering mount.

In a level difference eliminating device, a rotatable turntable 2 is mounted on a raising/lowering mount 1, a patient on a wheelchair gets onto the turntable 2, and he or she can pass through the level difference by raising/lowering the wheelchair. The mount 1 is an approximately square plate and a control box 4 is installed on a part in its one corner. The mount 1 is raised/lowered while mountedly supported by an X frame 5. The turntable 2 is a circular plate and its whole face is fitted in a recessed part which is formed in the mount 1 and has a same shape as the turntable 2 so as to be rotatably supported in the mount 1. A brake 7 which restricts the rotation of the turntable 2 by applying a pad 6 against the turntable 2 is provided on the mount 1. A slope 8 which is journalled to the front end of the mount 1 with its tip rotated upward and lifted becomes a passage for the wheelchair between the mount and a transfer face 9.
