Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting device having a dopant which is easy to handle, and a manufacturing method thereof.
SOLUTION: The light emitting device has at least a pair of electrodes comprising a positive electrode and a negative electrode, and an organic compound layer prepared between the pair of electrodes. The organic compound layer, which is in substantially electrical contact with the negative electrode, is constituted of at least an organic compound and a carbonate.
