To provide a light emitting diode fixing member which reduces number of components of the attachment component of a light emitting diode and can reduce attachment burden.

This metal light emitting diode fixing member 1 is used for fixing a light emitting diode 20 which has a pair of lead legs 21 whose cross-section has L shape in a housing 10, in the state that the diode 20 is electrically connected to a wiring 12 arranged in the housing 10. The light emitting diode fixing member 1 is provided with an elastic pawl 2 which performs elastic engagement to the engagement hole 13 of a rib 11 formed on the housing 10, a clamping hand 3 which performs clamping of the end portion of the lead leg 21 to the housing 10, and a wiring conducting portion 4 having a cut trench 4a wherein an outer cover is torn by forcedly inserting the wiring 12 and electric conduction is made to a core wire. The elastic pawl 2 performs elastic engagement to the engagement hole 13, the cut trench 4a tears the outer cover and connection is performed to the core wire so as to be able to make current flow while the clamping hand 3 energizes the lead leg 21, and the lead leg 21 is clamped with the housing 10.
