PURPOSE: To facilitate adjusting the incident light of an optical fiber, by providing the optical fiber to which the radiant light of a conical trapezoidal condensing prism, which the radiant light of a light emitting element is made incident to the end face of the larger-diameter side and is radiated from the end face of the smaller-diameter side, is made incident.
CONSTITUTION: A condensing prism 9 is adjusted so as to be in the center of the exit face of the light emitting part of a light emitting element 1 and is fixed to this exit face with an adhesive. The hole of an element holder 4' is structured to be conformed to the form of the condensing prism so that the tip of the condensing prism 9 coincides with the tip of an optical fiber 3, and positioning is completed only by inserting the condensing prism 9 into the hole of the element holder 4'. Finally, the light emitting element 1 is fixed to the element holder 4 by soldering.
