Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a light guide connector and its manufacture and, more concretely, provide a light guide connector for coupling an array of waveguides and/or optical fibers and its manufacture.
CONSTITUTION: The connector is a light guide or optical fiber connector which is coupled with an opposite-side light guide or optical fiber connector. An optical connector assembly which is provided by this invention is in combined structure of the light guide or optical fiber connector and the opposite-side light guide or optical fiber connector. Further, the method for manufacturing the light guide or optical fiber connector and optical connector assembly is shown.
