PURPOSE: To obtain a light image forming compsn. giving a high contrast print- out image by using specified substd. 1,2-dihalogenated ethane, a leuco dye and a photoinitiator or a photoinitiator system.
CONSTITUTION: This light image forming compsn. consists of substd. 1,2- dihalogenated ethane having a structure represented by the formula, a leuco dye and a photoinitiator or a photoinitiator system. In the formula, each of X1 and X2 is independently Br or Cl, R1 is 6-10C aryl or aroyl, R2 is 6-10C aryl, aroyl, acyl or an electron attracting group other than halogen, each of R3 and R4 is 6-10C aryl, 1-10C alkyl, H or an electron attracting group other than halogen, two of R1-R4 may form a 5- to 8-membered cyclic structure, and when R1 or R3 is 6-10C aryl, R2 and R4 are not aryl.
