Abstract:
PURPOSE:To provide a light irradiator composed of a plurality of light sources arranged discretely in a specified direction faced toward the object which is improved in light efficiency by making not only direct light from light sources but also light reflected by the object contribute to irradiation. CONSTITUTION:A light irradiator 7 composed of a plurality of light sources 1 (e.g. mercury vapor lamps) arranged discretely in a specified direction and facing an object 9 to be irradiated [e.g. a sheet like base material of a self-adhesive tape, prepared by coating a release paper prepared by applying a silicone mold release to white wood-free paper with a photopolymerizable monomer solution], wherein light reflecting members 3 on each of which a reflecting surface 3a facing the object 6 is formed is provided in at least either each space formed between the light sources (having a reflector 2) or the rear side of the object 6.
