Abstract:
To provide an illumination device etc. materialized using less number of components than ever before.SOLUTION: An illumination device 40 comprises a light source 16 and a lighting circuit 50 which supplies electric current to the light source 16. The lighting circuit 50 comprises: a rectifier circuit 51 which converts AC power into first DC power; and a DC/DC converter 52 which converts the first DC power supplied from the rectifier circuit 51 into second DC power and supplies electric current to the light source 16. The DC/DC converter 52 includes: an inductor L22 connected in series to the light source 16; a diode D25 for emitting energy accumulated in the inductor L22; and a control IC 53 which has a switching element 34 connected in series to the inductor L22. The control IC 53 includes a bleeder circuit 35 which causes electric current to flow between two output terminals of the rectifier circuit 51.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
