Abstract:
To complete a lightweight edged tool.SOLUTION: A lightweight edged tool comprises at least two members, that is, a blade material that forms a blade, and a base material for connecting the blade material. The base material is formed of a titanium blank, an aluminum alloy or a magnesium alloy. The blade material and the base material are connected together by making connection boundary surfaces along a blade line of the blade abut against each other. The connection boundary surface has a connection expansion part for expanding a connection area, and a stress suppression structure for suppressing stress applied to the blade. Adoption of this constitution makes the blade material connected to the base material in the state of increasing mechanical strength.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
